Please share this information with all persons who enjoy water recreation while at your property. Enjoying Rosen Lake should be a safe and relaxing experience for all residents and visitors.
Note: Laws are in bold
1. All Watercraft should be inspected for weeds, aquatic life and debris before entering the lake.
2. Speed limits of 10km/hr 30m off shore. This applies to all inland waters in B.C (p.54 Safe Boating Guide Transport Canada)
3. All motorized Watercraft must travel counter-clockwise.
4. Use of all motorized Watercraft at anything more than idle speed should be restricted to the hours between 10 AM and 8 PM.
5. All motorized Watercraft, including those towing skiers, tubers, etc. must enter the stream of traffic only when clear and safe to do so and only then at an angle that allows the Watercraft to immediately be going counter-clockwise.
6. All users of Rosen Lake are encouraged to use discretion and good judgement to moderate their activities appropriate to the volume of activity on the lake. Be considerate, share the lake and be careful.
7. Do not tow skiers or tubes, nor race at high speeds close to the shore. Federal guide-lines prohibit this.
8. All Watercraft are responsible and liable for their wake. Keep as far from shore as possible.
9. Do not harass the wildlife or harm their sanctuaries. They have rights protected by law.
